1 Prepare Ingredients and Make Green Onion Butter and Cream Cheese Filling
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Core tomato and halve. Cut halves into 1/4" half-moons.Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate. In a mixing bowl, combine green portions of green onions and half the softened plain butter (reserve remaining for garnish). Set aside. In another mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, bacon, white portions of green onions, and half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for chicken). Set aside. -
2 Prepare the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Hold knife blade parallel to the board and carefully make a lengthwise cut through the center of the meat, using your free hand to steady meat. Stop short of opposite edge so chicken remains in one piece. Open meat as you would a book.
Season both sides with garlic and parsley seasoning and a pinch of salt.Evenly divide cream cheese filling and tomatoes between chicken, placing on one half. Fold chicken in half over tomatoes and filling. -
3 Roast the Chicken
Place chicken on one prepared baking sheet and evenly top with remaining shredded cheese.
Roast in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 18-22 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. While chicken roasts, continue recipe. -
4 Bake the Biscuits
In another mixing bowl, combine biscuit mix, 1/4 cup water, sour cream, and half the Everything Bagel seasoning (reserve remaining for topping). Stir until a thick and tacky dough forms.
Spoon four even dollops of biscuit batter on second prepared baking sheet, leaving 3" of space in between each one. Evenly top with remaining Everything Bagel seasoning.Bake in hot oven until biscuits are golden-brown, 10-13 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. While biscuits bake, continue recipe. -
5 Cook Broccoli and Finish Dish
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.Uncover; add in a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir often until combined and broccoli is tender, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping biscuits with remaining softened plain butter. Garnish broccoli with green onion butter. Bon appétit!
