Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Mix butternut squash, Brussels sprouts, 1 tsp. olive oil, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Top with butter. Roast in hot oven until starting to soften, 10 minutes. If using sirloin steaks, follow same instructions.

    Add the Chicken

    Carefully remove from oven and push vegetables to one side of tray. Be careful, tray will be hot! Place marinara in empty side of tray and top with chicken. Top chicken with panko and Parmesan. Drizzle with 2 tsp. olive oil. If using sirloin steaks, follow same instructions.

    Bake the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken is browned and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 25-30 minutes. Tent with foil if browning too quickly. If using sirloin steaks, bake uncovered until steak reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 16-20 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Rest, 3 minutes. Bon appétit!
