Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Microwave Instructions

    Drain brisket and separate slices.

    Combine broccoli, barbeque seasoning (to taste), and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered, 3 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave and push broccoli to one corner of tray. Add mashed potatoes next to broccoli, then top with bacon and cheese. Add brisket and BBQ sauce to now-empty side of tray. Stir to combine. Cover again with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until warmed through, 3-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave.

    To serve, garnish brisket with crispy onions. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Make sure to use conventional oven setting, not convection.

    Drain brisket and separate slices.

    Combine broccoli, barbeque seasoning (to taste), and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray.

    Cover tray with foil. Place tray on a baking sheet.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and push broccoli to one corner of tray. Add mashed potatoes next to broccoli, then top with bacon and cheese. Add brisket and BBQ sauce to now-empty side of tray. Stir to combine. Cover again with foil. Place tray on a baking sheet.
