Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Halve lime. Juice one half and cut other half into wedges. Tear cilantro. Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.

    Place corn and butter (to taste) in one provided tray.

    Cover with a damp paper towel and microwave until butter is melted, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave and stir to combine. In second provided tray, combine ketchup, BBQ sauce, and pork.

    Cover second tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until pork is heated through, 4-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Wrap buns in a damp paper towel and microwave until soft, 15-20 seconds.

    Stir cilantro, aioli, 1 tsp. lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper into tray with corn.

    To serve, fill buns with pork mixture and garnish corn mixture with cheese. Squeeze lime wedges over meal to taste. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Halve lime. Juice one half and cut other half into wedges. Tear cilantro. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.

    Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered in hot oven until butter is melted, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and stir to combine. In second provided tray, combine ketchup, BBQ sauce, and pork.

    Cover second tray with foil. Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until pork is heated through, 12-14 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Wrap buns in a damp paper towel and microwave until soft, 15-20 seconds.

    Stir cilantro, aioli, 1 tsp. lime juice, and a pinch of salt and pepper into tray with corn.

    To serve, fill buns with pork mixture and garnish corn mixture with cheese. Squeeze lime wedges over meal to taste. Bon appétit!
