Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using pulled pork, coarsely chop. Excess pork fat will render while cooking and add flavor. Follow same instructions as shredded beef, cooking until pork is heated through, 12-14 minutes in oven or 5-7 minutes in microwave.

    Cook the Meal

    If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine beef, onions, 2 Tbsp. water, and seasoning blend in provided tray and push to one side. Top with cheese. Add potatoes to empty side of tray. Place tray on baking sheet and bake uncovered in hot oven until beef is heated through, 12-14 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Top bottom roll with beef mixture, dressing, and top roll. Bon appétit! If using microwave: Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine beef, onions, 2 Tbsp. water, and seasoning blend in provided tray and push to one side. Top with cheese. Add potatoes to empty side of tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until beef is warmed through, 5-7 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Top bottom roll with beef mixture, dressing, and top roll. Bon appétit!
