Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Cook the Meal

    If using microwave: Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine onions, 2 tsp. water, and seasoning blend in provided tray and push to one side. Add potatoes to empty side of tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until onions are tender, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir beef into onions. Microwave again until beef is heated through, 3-4 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave. Stir cheese into beef. Top bottom roll with beef mixture, dressing, and top roll. Bon appétit!

    If using oven: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine onions, 2 tsp. water, and seasoning blend in provided tray and push to one side. Add potatoes to empty side of tray. Place tray on baking sheet and bake in hot oven, 8 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir beef into onions. Place tray on baking sheet and bake again in hot oven until beef is heated through, 10-12 minutes. Carefully remove from oven. Stir cheese into beef. Top bottom roll with beef mixture, dressing, and top roll. Bon appétit!
