Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Mince garlic.
Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" dice.Pat pork roast dry. -
2 Cool the Meal
Place slow cooker liner in slow cooker, if desired. Fold top edges in before putting on lid.
Combine tomatoes, beef demi-glace, seasoning blend, garlic, onion, red wine, pork roast, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in a clean slow cooker.Turn slow cooker on to low heat. Cover, and cook until pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 6-8 hours. -
3 Cook the Pasta
When meal has 30 minutes left to cook, bring a medium pot with 8 cups water and 2 tsp. salt to a boil. Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 12-13 minutes.
Drain pasta in a colander and set aside. -
4 Finish the Dish
Carefully transfer pork roast to a plate or bowl and shred into bite-sized pieces.
Stir shredded pork and any accumulated juices, cheese spread, and pasta into slow cooker.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
