Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Chicken and Poblano

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Pat chicken breasts dry.

    Add cream cheese and half the buttermilk-dill seasoning (reserve remaining for potatoes) to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until slightly softened, 5-10 seconds.

    Remove from microwave and stir to combine.

    Place chicken in one provided tray. Top evenly with cream cheese mixture and shredded cheese.

    Place poblanos in second provided tray. Spread into a single layer.

    Bake Chicken and Poblano and Prepare Ingredients

    Place both trays in hot oven. Bake poblanos uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Bake chicken uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 14-16 minutes.

    Carefully remove poblano tray from oven. Vigorously stir in mashed potatoes and remaining buttermilk-dill seasoning. Push to one side.

    Add corn to empty side of tray.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake poblano and corn uncovered in hot oven until heated through, 5-7 minutes.

    Carefully remove both trays from oven. Stir butter into corn.

    To serve, garnish chicken with crispy jalapeños (to taste). Bon appétit!
