Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Core tomatoes and cut into 1/2" dice.

2 Start the Meal
Place slow cooker liner in slow cooker, if desired. Fold top edges in before putting on lid.
Combine enchilada sauce and salsa in a clean slow cooker. Crumble ground turkey and add to slow cooker. Top with seasoning blend and 1/4 the cheese (reserve remaining for topping).Turn slow cooker on to high heat. Cover, and cook until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 3 1/2 hours. -
3 Add the Beans, Corn, and Topping
After 3 1/2 hours, drain beans.
Stir beans, corn, and 1 tsp. salt into slow cooker.Top turkey-bean mixture with two tortillas and 1/4 the cheese. Repeat tortilla and cheese layering two more times, ending with cheese.Cover with lid and continue cooking until cheese is melted, 30 minutes. -
4 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with tomatoes and sour cream. Bon appétit!
