Cooking Guidelines

    Prepare The Ingredients and Cook The Sausage

    Stem, seed, remove ribs, and cut red bell pepper into 1/2" dice.

    "Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add 2 tsp. olive oil and Italian sausage to hot pan.Cook until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes."

    Add Italian seasoning, marinara, and red peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, until peppers are tender, 5-7 minutes.

    While sausage cooks, cook the potatoes.

    Cook The Potatoes

    In a medium non-stick pan over medium high heat, add 2 tsp olive oil. Add potatoes, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and heated through, 6-8 minutes.

    Make The Sandwiches

    Add sausage mixture to pretzel buns. Top with mozzarella. Transfer sandwiches to prepare baking sheet.

    Place under broiler until cheese is melted and browned, 1-2 minutes.
