Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

1 Prepare Tomatoes and Make Pesto Aioli
Core tomatoes and cut into 1/2" rounds.
In a mixing bowl, combine basil pesto and mayonnaise. Set aside. -
2 Prepare the Chicken
Pat chicken dry. Season all over with garlic salt, a pinch of pepper, and Italian seasoning.

3 Cook the Chicken
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add chicken to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 6-8 minutes.Remove from burner. -
4 Assemble the Sandwiches
Separate ciabattas. Evenly spread pesto aioli on bottom halves, then top with chicken, tomatoes, and cheese.
Evenly spread softened basil pesto butter on top halves. -
5 Broil Sandwiches and Finish Dish
Place ciabattas on prepared baking sheets.
Broil under hot broiler until cheese is melted, 2-3 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as cheese may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from oven and evenly top cheese with spinach. Sheet will be hot! Use caution/a utensil.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom half with top half. Bon appétit!
