Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, follow same instructions.

  • If using sirloin steaks, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Make the Chile Bacon Cream Cheese

    Place bacon in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave until crispy, 45-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Let cool, at least 5 minutes.

    After 5 minutes, or once cool enough to handle, add softened cream cheese and hatch chiles (to taste). Stir to combine and set aside.

    Cook the Broccoli

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.

    Uncover and stir occasionally until broccoli is tender, 2-3 minutes.

    Add rotisserie chicken seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and butter. Stir occasionally until combined and butter is melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Top broccoli with half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for chicken). Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While broccoli cooks, continue recipe.

    Cook the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with barbeque seasoning (use less if spice-averse) and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add chicken to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Top Chicken and Finish Dish

    Evenly top chicken with chile bacon cream cheese (to taste), then remaining shredded cheese. Cover until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping broccoli with dressing. Garnish with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
