Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Stem and tear cilantro. Drain black beans.

    In one provided tray, combine diced peppers, black beans, corn, and 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Microwave uncovered until peppers are tender, 5-6 minutes

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Transfer half the bean and pepper mixture to second provided tray. Evenly divide bolognese, marinara, pasta, taco seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt between both trays. Stir until combined. Top both trays with cheese in an even layer.

    Cover trays with a damp paper towel. Microwave again covered until heated through, 4-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from microwave.

    To serve, top with tortilla strips and cilantro. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Make sure to use conventional oven setting, not convection. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Stem and tear cilantro. Drain black beans.

    In one provided tray, combined diced peppers, black beans, corn, and 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Place tray on a baking sheet. Bake uncovered in hot oven until peppers are tender, 8-10 minutes

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Transfer half the bean and pepper mixture to second provided tray. Evenly divide bolognese, marinara, pasta, taco seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt between both trays. Stir until combined. Top both trays with cheese in an even layer.

    Cover trays with foil. Place trays on a baking sheet. Bake again covered in hot oven until heated through, 10-12 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven.

    To serve, top with tortilla strips and cilantro. Bon appétit!
