Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain chicken breast and pat dry.

    Combine flour and tomatoes in one provided tray. Stir until no dry flour remains. Stir in marinara, 1/2 cup water, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, cream cheese, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Cover tray with a damp paper towel. Microwave until beginning to thicken, 4-5 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir until smooth. Stir in pasta, half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish), pesto, chicken, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Divide mixture evenly between two trays.

    Cover trays with damp paper towels. Microwave covered until chicken is heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    To serve, garnish pasta with remaining Parmesan. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Drain chicken breast and pat dry.

    Combine flour and tomatoes in one provided tray. Stir until no dry flour remains. Stir in marinara, 1/2 cup water, garlic salt, Italian seasoning, cream cheese, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Cover tray with foil and place on baking sheet. Bake in hot oven until beginning to thicken, 18-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir until smooth. Stir in pasta, half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish), pesto, chicken, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Divide mixture evenly between two trays.

    Cover trays again with foil and place on baking sheet. Bake in hot oven until chicken is heated through, 10-12 minutes.

    To serve, garnish pasta with remaining Parmesan. Bon appétit!
