Cooking Guidelines

If using 20 oz. ground pork, follow same instructions as 10 oz. ground pork, working in batches if necessary.

If using diced chicken breasts, follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 1, stirring occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 1, breaking up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 7-9 minutes.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 1, stirring occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Cook the Ground Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 tsp. olive oil, ground pork, garlic salt, and mushroom seasoning to hot pan.
Break up meat until no pink remains and ground pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.While ground pork cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Add Mushrooms and Prepare Green Onions
Cut mushrooms into 1/4" slices.
Add mushrooms and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until mushrooms have softened and browned, 2-4 minutes.While mushrooms cook, trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate. -
3 Add the Sauce
Add flour and white portions of green onions to hot pan and stir until no dry flour remains.
Add 3/4 cup water, softened cream cheese , demi-glace, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir constantly until cheese melts and sauce has thickened slightly, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add Pasta and Finish Dish
Add pasta and a pinch of salt to hot pan and gently stir until coated and heated through, 1-2 minutes.
If sauce is too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
