Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using 20 oz. steak strips, follow same instructions as 10 oz. steak strips, working in batches if necessary.

If using shrimp, pat dry and season all over with a pinch of salt and pepper. Follow same instructions as steak strips in Step 2, cooking until shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

If using sliced pork, follow same instructions as steak strips in Steps 1 and 2, stirring occasionally until no pink remains and pork reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

If using sliced flank steak, follow same instructions as steak strips in Steps 1 and 2, stirring occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.
Separate steak strips into a single layer and pat dry. Coarsely chop. -
2 Cook the Steak Strips
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add steak strips, white portions of green onions, and bacon to hot pan. Stir occasionally until no pink remains and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes. -
3 Make the Sauce
Stir flour into hot pan until no dry flour remains.
Stir in 1 cup water, softened cream cheese, chicken base, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper until completely combined. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, cook until creamy and slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add Pasta and Finish Dish
Stir in pasta, peas, and half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish). Return to a simmer.
Once simmering, cook until peas and pasta are heated through and cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.If too thick, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with remaining Parmesan and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
