Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using Impossible burger, break into small pieces and stir into tray. Follow same instructions as Italian sausage in Step 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until burger is heated through, 16-18 minutes.

  • If using diced chicken, pat dry and stir into tray. Follow same instructions as Italian sausage in Step 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 18-22 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey break into small pieces and stir into tray. Follow same instructions as Italian sausage in Step 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 18-22 minutes.

  • If using shrimp, pat dry and stir into tray. Follow same instructions as Italian sausage in Step 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 16-18 minutes.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Combine pasta, cream cheese, tomatoes, and chicken demi-glace in provided tray. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.

    Add the Italian Sausage

    Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary, and crumble into bite-sized pieces. Stir into tray.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 16-18 minutes. Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in butter, half the Parmesan, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Garnish with remaining Parmesan, goat cheese (crumbling if needed) and red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
