Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Cook the Turkey
Place a medium pot over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground turkey, poultry seasoning, and a pinch of salt to hot pot.Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
2 Add the Mushrooms and Leeks
Thinly slice mushrooms.
Add leeks and mushrooms to hot pot with turkey. Stir often until slightly softened, 1-2 minutes.Add flour and stir until no dry flour remains. -
3 Add the Broth
Add 1 1/2 cups water, chicken base, mushroom base, cream base, garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Bring to a simmer.

4 Simmer Soup and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.
Once simmering, add rice, half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and a pinch of salt. Stir often until rice is heated through, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Stir in lemon juice.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with remaining cheese. Bon appétit!
