  • 2 Microwave-Safe Bowls

Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Cook the Chicken

    Evenly spread panko on a plate.

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with garlic salt and Italian seasoning.

    Place chicken onto plate with panko, pressing gently to adhere to one side.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 4 tsp. olive oil.

    Working in batches if necessary, add chicken, panko-side down, to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

    Cook the Green Beans

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Place another large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add green beans to hot pan. Cook, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add 1/3 cup water, 1/4 tsp. salt, and garlic pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, cover and stir occasionally until green beans are tender, 6-8 minutes.

    If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.

    Uncover; stir in softened butter until melted and combined, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    While green beans cook, continue recipe.

    Heat the Rice

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, chicken base, and 2 Tbsp. water.

    Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in 1/4 tsp. salt until combined. Rest, 2 minutes. Fluff rice with a fork.

    Make Sauce and Finish Dish

    Place marinara in another microwave-safe bowl.

    Microwave until heated through, 1-2 minutes, stirring once halfway through.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir in creme fraiche until combined.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with sauce. Slice chicken, if desired. Bon appétit!
