Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Rice Mixture
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.
Combine rice, corn, and chile and cumin rub in provided tray. Spread into an even layer. -
2 Add the Pork and Toppings
Evenly top rice mixture with ground pork, breaking up into bite-sized pieces.
Top evenly with 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, enchilada sauce (to taste), then cheese. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until pork is browned and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, garnish with sour cream and tortilla strips. Bon appétit!
