Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging.Combine rice, edamame, slaw mix, seasoning blend, and a pinch of pepper in provided tray. Spread into an even layer. -
2 Add the Shrimp
Pat shrimp dry. Place shrimp on rice and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
If using diced chicken or pulled pork, follow same instructions. -
3 Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 18-20 minutes.
If using diced chicken, bake in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 22-27 minutes. If using pulled pork, bake in hot oven until heated through, 14-16 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Stir in rice vinegar and soy sauce. Garnish with boom boom sauce (to taste), wonton strips, and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
