Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Start the Peppers
Place mixed peppers in provided tray and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for rice). Spread into a single layer.
Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.While peppers bake, continue recipe. -
2 Add Pork and Pineapples and Bake Meal
Drain pulled pork and separate pieces.
After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven.Add pineapples, pork, teriyaki glaze, and black pepper sauce (to taste) to tray. Stir to combine.Bake again uncovered in hot oven until pork is heated through, 8-10 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While pork mixture bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Heat Rice and Finish Meal
Place minced garlic and chili pepper (to taste) and 1 tsp. olive oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until garlic is fragrant, 30-60 seconds.
While garlic microwaves, carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.Carefully remove bowl from microwave and add rice. Stir to combine. Microwave uncovered until rice is heated through, 2-3 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Stir in remaining garlic salt until combined and fluff rice with a fork.To serve, garnish pork mixture with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
