Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground pork, follow same instructions as ground beef in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 28-32 minutes.

  • If using ground turkey, follow same instructions as ground beef in Step 2 and 3 baking uncovered in hot oven until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 30-35 minutes.

    Bake the Green Beans

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Combine green beans and 1 Tbsp. water in provided tray. Spread into a single layer.

    Cover tray with foil. Bake covered in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    Add the Mashed Potatoes and Meatloaves

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Remove foil. Combine green beans and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for meatloaves). Push green beans to one corner of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil. Add mashed potatoes in empty corner next to green beans and stir vigorously.

    In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ricotta, remaining garlic salt, panko, and a pinch of pepper. Form into two equally-sized loaves.

    Place meatloaves in empty space of tray and top evenly with shredded cheese.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 30-35 minutes.

    While meal bakes, in another mixing bowl, combine sour cream and caramelized onion jam.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir potatoes vigorously.

    To serve, top meatloaves with sour cream-caramelized onion mixture. Bon appétit!
