You Will Need

Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Pork 160° F
Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 12-13 minutes.
Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside. Reserve pot; no need to wipe clean.
While pasta cooks, roast broccolini.
Roast the Broccolini
Trim bottom end from broccolini and cut into 2" lengths.
Place broccolini on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, ¼ tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.
Spread into a single layer and roast in hot oven until tender and lightly browned, 12-15 minutes.
While broccolini roasts, prepare ingredients.
Prepare Ingredients and Cook Salmon
Pat salmon dry, and season flesh side with seasoning rub.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add salmon, skin side up, to hot pan and sear until golden brown and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.
Don't worry if salmon is blackened; it's not burnt.
Remove from burner.
Make the Sauce
Return pot used to cook pasta to medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add garlic to hot pot and cook until aromatic, 30-60 seconds.
Add ⅓ cup pasta cooking water, cream cheese, and mirepoix base. Stir until smooth, 1-2 minutes.
Bring to a boil. Once boiling, stir in pasta, broccolini, and garlic salt until combined.
If too thick, add pasta cooking water 1 Tbsp. at a time until desired consistency is reached.
Remove from burner.
Finish the Dish
