Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

    Start the Vegetables

    Place yellow squash and zucchini in provided tray and toss with a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 5 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    Add Turkey and Finish Vegetables

    Break turkey into bite-sized pieces. Stir turkey and a pinch of salt and pepper into tray with vegetables until combined. Spread into an even layer. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 17-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven and drain any excess liquid from tray. Break up turkey again into smaller bite-sized pieces. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Add Mashed Potatoes and Finish Meal

    Stir garlic salt, tomatoes, ancho cinnamon rub (to taste), and pesto into turkey mixture.

    Place mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl and vigorously stir to combine. Evenly top turkey mixture with mashed potatoes and spread into an even layer.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until mashed potatoes are heated through, 10-15 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    To serve, garnish with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
