Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

1 Start Peppers and Prepare Turkey
Spray one provided tray with cooking spray.
Add peppers to prepared tray and spread into an even layer.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Evenly top peppers with ground turkey, breaking into bite-sized pieces. Season with 1/4 tsp. salt and garlic salt. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer. -
2 Assemble Pasta and Bake Meal
In second provided tray, combine cream base, shredded cheese, softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup water, pasta, 1/2 tsp. salt, and ranch seasoning. Spread into an even layer and cover with foil.
Bake both trays (turkey mixture uncovered, pasta covered) in hot oven until turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 17-20 minutes. While meal bakes, continue recipe. -
3 Toast Rolls, Add Sauce, and Finish Meal
Toast rolls, as desired. Alternatively, place rolls cut-side up directly on oven rack. Toast in hot oven until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine BBQ sauce and tomato sauce. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 45-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine. Set aside.Carefully remove trays from oven. Stir pasta tray to combine.Drain any excess liquid from turkey mixture tray. Break turkey into smaller pieces, then stir in BBQ-tomato sauce mixture until combined.To serve, top bottom roll half with turkey mixture, then top roll half. Bon appétit!
