If using ground beef, add to a medium non-stick pan over medium heat. Break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, add to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Add steak strips to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Start the Sausage and Peppers
Spray provided tray with cooking spray.
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.Add sausage and mixed peppers to prepared tray, breaking sausage into bite-sized pieces. Spread into an even layer and evenly top with 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.Sausage will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove from oven. -
2 Add the Sauce and Pasta
Stir in tomato sauce, creme fraiche, red pepper flakes (to taste), spinach, and pasta until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

3 Crisp Bacon and Finish Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 8-10 minutes.
While meal bakes, line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Place bacon on towel-lined plate.Microwave until crispy, 60-90 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave.Carefully remove tray from oven.To serve, top pasta with cheese and bacon. Bon appétit!
