Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Bake the Vegetables
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine carrots, peas, and 1 tsp. olive oil in provided tray. Spread into an even layer and top with cream cheese. Cream cheese will melt as meal bakes.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes. -
2 Add the Sausage and Sauce
Carefully remove tray from oven. Remove Italian sausage from casing. Crumble into small pieces.
Top vegetables with pasta, Italian sausage pieces, and sauce. -
3 Finish the Dish
Bake uncovered again until Italian sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-17 minutes.
While meal bakes, crush croutons in shipping bag.Carefully remove from oven. Stir to combine. Top with Parmesan and crushed croutons. Bon appétit!
