Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Spray grill with cooking spray and heat grill to medium. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Place potatoes in provided grill bag. Roll open end of bag to seal. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, seasoning packet and ½ jalapeno (more or less depending on desired spice level, Set aside. Form ground pork into two equally-sized patties and season both sides with ¼ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Place grill bag on hot grill and cook until tender, 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Place beef patties on grill and cook until patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-5 minutes per side. Top patties with cream cheese jalapeno mixture and shredded cheddar jack . Cook until cheddar jack is melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Place buns, cut side down, on hot grill and toast, 1-2 minutes. Plate dish as pictured on front of card, placing patties in buns. Bon appétit!
