If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.
-
1 Cook the Rice
Bring a small pot with rice, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1 1/4 cups water to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.Remove from burner. Stir in green portions of green onions (prepared in a later step) and sesame oil until combined. Cover and set aside to keep warm. While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate. -
3 Prepare the Pork
Evenly spread panko on a plate.
Pat pork dry. Cover with plastic wrap and use a heavy object to pound to an even 1/4" thickness. Gallon bags make clean up easier and are made of thicker plastic. If you don’t have a disposable bag, use plastic wrap.Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper, then evenly coat both sides with mayonnaise.Transfer pork to plate with panko and flip until coated on both sides, pressing gently to adhere. -
4 Cook the Pork
Line another plate with a paper towel.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Lay pork away from you in hot oil and flip every 1-2 minutes until golden-brown and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Remove from burner and transfer pork to towel-line plate. Rest, 3 minutes. While pork cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Cook Broccoli and Finish Dish
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.Uncover and stir in white portions of green onions, 1/4 tsp. salt, and Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (to taste) until broccoli is tender, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork with BBQ sauce. Garnish broccoli with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
