  1. 1

    Cook Couscous and Prepare Ingredients

Once water in medium pot is boiling, add couscous and cook until soft, 9-10 minutes.

Reserve 1/2 cup couscous cooking water, then drain couscous.

While couscous cooks, halve pear lengthwise, core, and cut into 1/8" slices.

Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

    Mince chives.

    Tear spinach into smaller pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pear

Place a small pot over medium heat.

Add pear slices, 2 Tbsp. water, and apple cider to hot pot. Bring to a simmer

Once simmering, cover, and cook until pears are soft, 3-5 minutes.

Uncover, and continue cooking until water has almost evaporated, 3-4 minutes.

Remove from burner. Cover and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Chicken

Heat 2 tsp. olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

Add ground chicken and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.

  4. 4

    Finish the Dish

Add cream cheese, cheese spread, 1 Tbsp. lemon juice, seasoning blend, and 1/4 cup couscous cooking water to hot pan. Stir constantly until cheeses are melted, 2-3 minutes.

Stir in cooked couscous and chives until combined.

Add spinach and stir constantly until wilted, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, squeezing lemon wedge over bowl to taste. Serve cooked pears on side. Bon appétit!
