Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Microwave Instructions

    Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.

    Drain beef and break into smaller pieces. Tenderloin will be pink upon arrival and may remain pink after heating. It has been pre-cooked and simply needs to be heated through.

    Massage rice in shipping bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice, minced garlic and lemon basil, tomatoes, peas, and 1/2 tsp. salt in one section of provided tray.

    Place beef in empty section of tray in an even layer. Top with piri piri seasoning (use less if spice-averse) and 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until heated through, 1-3 minutes.

    In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream and tzatziki. Carefully remove tray from microwave.

    To serve, top rice with cheese and garnish beef with tzatziki crema. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Make sure to use conventional oven setting, not convection.
