Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

1 Cook the Ground Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add ground pork, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
2 Add the Mushrooms
Add mushrooms, minced garlic and parsley, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until mushrooms are slightly tender, 2-3 minutes.

3 Add the Sauce
Add marsala wine to hot pan. Stir often until wine is almost completely evaporated, 1-2 minutes.
Add tomato sauce, onion salt, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. -
4 Add Pasta and Cheese and Finish Dish
Once simmering, add pasta, butter, and half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) to hot pan. Stir occasionally until combined and pasta is heated through, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with remaining cheese. Garnish with red pepper flakes (to taste). Bon appétit!
