Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using shrimp, pat dry. Add shrimp to a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Chicken and Vegetables

    Spray provided tray with cooking spray.

    Pat chicken dry and season all over with smoked maple seasoning and 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Place pepper, onion, and pea medley and chicken in prepared tray. Stir to combine and spread into an even layer.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Stir in 2 tsp. olive oil, miso base, red pepper flakes (to taste), garlic sesame sauce, and sesame oil until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Heat Rice and Finish Meal

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine rice, edamame, 2 tsp. olive oil, umami seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.

    Fluff rice with a fork.

    To serve, top rice with chicken mixture (to taste). Garnish with sesame seeds and wonton strips. Bon appétit!
