Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, follow same instructions.

  • If using ground turkey, cook in a medium non-stick pan until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Start the Potato Wedges

Cut potatoes into 1/2"-thick wedges and pat dry. Peel first, if desired.

Place wedges on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, potato spice seasoning, and a pinch of pepper. Spread into an even layer.

Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While wedges roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Add the Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 3 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.

After 1 minute, add ground pork, Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), garlic salt, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning. Stir until thoroughly combined. Form pork mixture into 4 equally-sized patties, 5" across.

After 15 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Flip and push wedges to one side of sheet. Place patties on now-empty side of sheet. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil/caution.

  3. 3

Finish the Potato Wedges and Patties

Summertime, and the grilling is easy! To grill this burger, heat grill to medium. Follow same instructions, grilling until browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

Roast in hot oven until wedges are tender and patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

Carefully remove sheet from oven and drain any excess liquid. Sheet will be hot! Use caution.

While wedges and patties roast, continue recipe.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Cucumbers

    Coarsely chop cilantro.

Peel cucumbers and, using peeler, shave into long ribbons, rotating and stopping when you reach seeds. Discard ends.

In another mixing bowl, combine cucumbers, cilantro, vinegar, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

  5. 5

    Heat Buns and Finish Dish

Heat buns to your preference using a toaster or microwave.

Alternatively, place buns directly on rack in hot oven, cut-side up. Toast until lightly browned, 3-4 minutes.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with mayonnaise, cucumbers, patty, orange ginger sesame sauce (to taste), then top bun. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the orange ginger sesame sauce. Bon appétit!
