Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef or ground turkey, roast until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

1 Start the Potatoes
Cut potatoes into 1/2" wedges.
Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, potato spice seasoning, and garlic and parsley seasoning. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
2 Add Meatballs and Finish Potatoes
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta and sausage. Form mixture into 8 equally-sized meatballs.After 15 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Flip potatoes and push to one side of sheet. Potatoes and sheet will be hot! Use a utensil. Place meatballs on now-empty side of baking sheet.Roast again in hot oven until potatoes are brown and tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 10-15 minutes.While potatoes and meatballs roast, continue recipe. -
3 Heat Sauce and Toast Rolls
Place marinara in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until warmed through, 15-30 seconds.
While sauce heats, open rolls slightly and place directly on oven rack.Toast in hot oven until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes. -
4 Assemble the Sandwiches
After 10-15 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.
Place 4 meatballs inside each toasted roll and top with warmed marinara and shredded cheese. -
5 Melt Cheese and Finish Dish
Roast again in hot oven until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
