There may be no foodstuff more widespread, more beloved, eaten by more teenagers at slumber parties than that classic of the greasy box, pepperoni pizza. How could that experience possibly be better? We can't improve the horror movies watched, or the pranks played, but we can move that gooey good cheese and that salty good cured meat to a succulent pork chop. Every bite is like pizza… but better. No sleeping bag required!

You Will Need
Large Non-Stick Pan
Before You Cook
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Ground Pork 160° F
Prepare Ingredients and Make Sauce
Stem, seed, remove ribs, and cut green bell pepper into ½" dice.
Cut potatoes into ½" dice.
Pat pork chops dry, and season both sides with ¼ tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

Start the Vegetables
Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and ¼ tsp. salt. Massage oil, garlic pepper, and salt into potatoes.
Spread into a single layer. Roast in hot oven, 18 minutes.
While potatoes roast, start pork chops.

Start the Pork
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 3 tsp. olive oil.
Add pork chops to hot pan and sear undisturbed until browned, 3-4 minutes on one side.
Remove from burner.
Finish Pork and Vegetables
Carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Combine green bell pepper with potatoes and push to one side. Baking sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.
Transfer pork chops to other half of baking sheet, seared side up. Top evenly with marinara, a pinch of pepper, mozzarella, and pepperoni.
Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender, cheese is melted, and pork chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
Remove from oven. Top vegetables with Parmesan. Rest, 3 minutes.
