Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

    Cook The Beef

    "Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add 1 tsp olive oil, ground beef, 1/4 tsp salt and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. Transfer ground beef to a plate."

    Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    Cook The Vegetables

    In the same pan over medium heat, add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 2 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover, and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 5 minutes. Uncover, add red onion and garlic salt, and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes

    Add Sauce

    Add sauce and ground beef to pan and bring to a simmer.

    Finish The Dish

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping dish with Parmesan. Bon appétit!
