Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

    Roast the Fries

    Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.

    Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for patties), 1/4 tsp. salt, and garlic pepper. Spread into a single layer.

    Roast in hot oven until slightly browned, 28-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While fries roast, continue recipe.

    Cook the Patties

    Form ground beef into 4 equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with remaining garlic salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

    Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until slightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner. Evenly top patties with 3/4 the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for cheese sauce). Cover until cheese is melted.

    While patties cook, continue recipe.

    Toast the Buns

    Place buns directly on oven rack.

    Toast in hot oven, cut-sides down, until slightly browned, 3-4 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While buns toast, continue recipe.

    Make Sauces and Finish Dish

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese, 1/4 cup water, and remaining shredded cheese. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until cream cheese is melted, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Whisk until smooth. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave again covered until sauce is heated through, 20-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.

    In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard (to taste), and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, pickles, mayonnaise mixture, then top bun. Serve cheese sauce on the side for dipping fries. Bon appétit!
