Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Toast the Panko
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add panko and garlic and parsley seasoning to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and toasted, 1-2 minutes.Transfer to towel-lined plate. Wipe pan clean and keep over medium heat. -
2 Cook the Sausage
Remove Italian sausage from casing, if necessary.
Add 2 tsp. olive oil and Italian sausage to hot pan. Break into smaller pieces until no pink remains and sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes. -
3 Add the Sauce
Add tomato sauce, peas, marinara, cream cheese, butter (to taste), 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

4 Add Pasta and Finish Dish
Add pasta to hot pan. Stir occasionally until coated and pasta is heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with toasted panko. Garnish with cheese. Bon appétit!
