  • If using 20 oz. ground pork, follow same instructions as 10 oz. ground pork, working in batches if necessary.

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Follow same instructions as ground pork in Step 2, stirring occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Hold romaine hearts at root ends and chop coarsely.

Stem, seed, remove ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" strips.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Mixture

Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and coat pan with cooking spray.

Add ground pork, seasoning blend, bell pepper, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

While pork cooks, make cheese sauce.

  3. 3

    Make the Cheese Sauce

Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat.

Add cream base, hot sauce (to taste), shredded cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, stir often until cheese is incorporated and smooth, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

  4. 4

    Finish the Dish

Add romaine, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper to a mixing bowl. Toss or gently stir to combine.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping romaine with pork mixture, cheese sauce, and tortilla strips. Bon appétit!
