If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Start the Fried Rice
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add mushrooms and slaw mix to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 4-6 minutes. -
2 Finish the Fried Rice
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging.
Add 1 tsp. olive oil, rice, peas, umami seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and soy sauce to hot pan. Stir occasionally until peas and rice are heated through, 3-5 minutes.Remove from burner.While fried rice cooks, continue recipe. -
3 Cook the Chicken
Pat chicken dry.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken, five spice seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes. -
4 Add Sauces and Finish Dish
Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the BBQ sauce. Add garlic sesame sauce, BBQ sauce (to taste), and cashews to hot pan. Stir often until combined and chicken is evenly coated, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping fried rice with chicken. Garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
