Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Chicken

    Finely crush wontons in shipping bag and place on a plate. Add sesame seeds and mix to combine. Spread into an even layer.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with a pinch of pepper. Brush one side of chicken with soy sauce. Place chicken, soy sauce-side down, onto sesame seed-wonton mixture, pressing firmly to adhere to one side.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a medium oven-safe non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Add chicken, sesame seed-wonton-side down, to hot pan and cook until browned on one side, 2-4 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Flip chicken and transfer to hot oven.

    Roast until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven. Pan handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt.

    While chicken cooks, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" dice.

    Break broccoli into bite-sized pieces using hands.

    Cook Vegetables and Finish Dish

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 3-5 minutes.

    Uncover and add 1 tsp. olive oil, bell peppers, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir occasionally until vegetables are tender, 4-6 minutes.

    Add ginger and stir occasionally until fragrant, 30-60 seconds.

    Stir in garlic sesame sauce until combined and heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card. Bon appétit!
