  • Pepper

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Potatoes

    Quarter potatoes. Cut into 6-8 wedges if larger than a ping-pong ball.

    Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet. Top potatoes with potato spice seasoning, a pinch of pepper, and 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes. Spread into an even layer.

    Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

    Make Bacon Topping and Add Chicken

    In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar and bacon. Set aside.

    Pat chicken dry and season both sides with a pinch of salt.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Push potatoes to one side of baking sheet. Potatoes will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken on now-empty side of baking sheet. Top evenly with BBQ sauce, then bacon topping.

    Finish the Potatoes and Chicken

    Roast in hot oven until potatoes are golden-brown and tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-18 minutes.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While potatoes and chicken roast, continue recipe.

    Prepare Chives and Finish Dish

    Mince chives.

    To serve, garnish potatoes with cheese, sour cream, and chives. Bon appétit!
