If using ground beef, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 10-12 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Trim green beans, if necessary.
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for green beans), a pinch of pepper, and mayonnaise. Form mixture into eight evenly-sized meatballs. -
Assemble the Green Beans and Meatballs
Place green beans on prepared baking sheet and top with 1 tsp. olive oil, remaining garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into green beans and push to one side of sheet, spreading into an even layer.
Transfer meatballs to empty side of sheet.Cover green beans side with foil. -
Roast the Green Beans and Meatballs
Roast half-covered (green beans covered, meatballs uncovered) in hot oven until green beans are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven. Uncover and stir pesto into green beans.While green beans and meatballs roast, continue recipe. -
Heat Sauce and Finish Dish
Add marinara to a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a damp paper towel.
Microwave covered until heated through, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in softened butter (to taste) until melted and combined.To serve, top meatballs with sauce (to taste) and cheese. Bon appétit!
