Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Bake the Shrimp
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before cooking, and after handling raw meat and seafood. Remove all produce from any packaging or constraints, then thoroughly rinse and pat dry.
Drain shrimp thoroughly and pat dry.In provided tray, combine shrimp, mushrooms, and 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.Shrimp will finish cooking in a later step. -
2 Add the Pasta and Sauce
Carefully remove from oven and drain excess liquid from tray.
Add pasta, cream base, minced garlic and parsley, mirepoix base, half the cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper.Stir until combined. -
3 Prepare Chives and Finish Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-15 minutes.
While meal bakes, mince chives.Carefully remove tray from oven.To serve, top pasta with remaining cheese, chives, and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
