Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
In 1/3 of provided tray, combine mashed potatoes, buttermilk-dill seasoning, and a pinch of garlic salt (reserve remaining for corn and butter).Place another pinch of garlic salt in a mixing bowl and set aside.In another 1/3 of tray, combine corn, 1 tsp. olive oil, and remaining garlic salt.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 5 minute.While vegetables bake, sear steak. -
2 Start the Steaks
Pat steaks dry, and season both sides with steak seasoning.
Heat 2 tsp. olive oil in a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat.Add steaks to hot pan. Sear undisturbed until browned, 1-2 minutes on one side.Remove from burner. Carefully transfer steaks, seared side down, to empty third of tray. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.While meal bakes, mince chives.Add butter, half the chives (reserve remaining for garnish), and a pinch of pepper to bowl with garlic salt. Stir to combine.Carefully remove tray from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.To serve, top corn with cheese, mashed potatoes with remaining chives, and steaks with herb butter. Bon appétit!
