Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using diced chicken, follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking covered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 25-30 minutes.

If using whole chicken breasts, pat dry and, on a separate cutting board, cut into 1” dice. Follow same instructions as above.

If using steak strips, separate into a single layer and pat dry. Follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking covered in hot oven until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 15-20 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Add diced peppers, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper to provided tray.Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.While peppers bake, prepare rice. -
2 Add the Rice and Shrimp
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds. Remove rice from packaging.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in tomatoes and push to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Add rice, demi-glace, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil to empty side of tray. Stir until completely combined.Pat shrimp dry. Top tray with shrimp, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of pepper. -
3 Bake the Dish
Cover tray with foil. Bake again covered in hot oven until shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
While meal bakes, combine cream base and seasoning blend (to taste) in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, 30 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.Carefully remove tray from oven. Top with sauce and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
