Recipe Steps

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry. Smear cream cheese evenly on bottom of provided tray. If cream cheese is too firm, microwave 10 seconds at a time until softened. Mix beef demi-glace, rice, seasoning blend, ½ tsp. salt , ¼ tsp. pepper, and 1 ½ cups water in tray until completely combined.

    Add the Vegetables and Steak

    Evenly place mushrooms and peas on rice. Separate steak strips into individual slices and layer on vegetables and rice. If using flank steak, follow same instructions.

    Bake the Dish

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until rice is tender and no pink remains on steak strips, 28-32 minutes. If using flank steak, follow same instructions. Carefully remove from oven and cool slightly, 2 minutes. Stir in butter and sour cream until creamy. Top with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
