Customize It Instructions

  • If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan with 2 tsp. olive oil over medium heat until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

  1. 1

    Start the Fries

Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.

Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 Tbsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for steak strips), and a pinch of pepper. Spread into an even layer.

Roast in hot oven until slightly browned, 22-25 minutes.

    While fries roast, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ingredients

Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.

Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Season all over with remaining garlic salt and a pinch of pepper.

  3. 3

Add the Steak Strips and Vegetables

After 22-25 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven and flip fries. Push to one side of sheet and evenly top with grated cheese. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil/caution.

Place steak strips on empty side of sheet and spread into an even layer. Evenly top steak with pepper and onion mix and a pinch of salt. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil/caution.

  4. 4

Finish the Fries, Steak Strips, and Vegetables

Roast in hot oven until fries and vegetables are tender and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-22 minutes.

Carefully remove from oven. Kids not a fan of extra heat? Feel free to skip/reduce the black pepper sauce. Stir black pepper sauce (to taste) into steak strip mixture until coated. Rest, 3 minutes.

While fries, vegetables, and steak roast, continue recipe.

  5. 5

    Make Fondue and Finish Dish

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream base, shredded cheese, white portions of green onions, 2 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt.

Microwave uncovered until cheese is melted, 45-60 seconds.

Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine. Microwave again uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

If too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Carefully remove from microwave and stir in creme fraiche until combined.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping fries with steak strip mixture. Garnish with fondue and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
