- 1 Medium Pot
- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Potato Masher
- 1 Peeler
- 1 Colander/Strainer

Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Cook the Sweet Potatoes
Peel and cut sweet potatoes into 1" dice.
Once water is boiling, add sweet potatoes to hot pot. Cook until tender, 10-12 minutes.Remove from burner. Drain sweet potatoes in a colander/strainer and return to pot. Add creme fraiche, maple syrup, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Mash to combine.While sweet potatoes cook, continue recipe. -
2 Make the Topping
Coarsely chop pecans.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and butter. Break up mixture to form pea-sized crumbles.Add brown sugar, pecans, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine. -
3 Bake Casserole and Finish Dish
Transfer sweet potato mixture to prepared casserole dish and spread into an even layer. Evenly crumble topping over sweet potatoes.
Bake uncovered in hot oven until topping is browned and crispy, 15-20 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Serve family-style. Bon appétit!
